1.These general rental conditions which appear on our website https://www.avalin.fr/
page https://www.avalin.fr/en/cgu once accepted are worth rental contract and faults of remarks are considered as accepted for the reservation.
The customer also acknowledges by accepting them to have taken into account and to have understood the information of the site and to accept them.
Those informations, points concerne the "Chalet Chez Sylvain 5*****" and "L'Avalin 4**** chalet apartments" :
Apartment 1 of Chalet L'Avalin (8/9 Pers. including children, West 85 m²/ ground floor/terrace (summer) / 4 bedrooms / 5 rooms / 3 WCs / 2 bathrooms / 1 separate shower)
Apartment 2 of Chalet L'Avalin (4/5 pers.including children, Southeast 63 m² / ground floor/ terrace (summer) / 2 bedrooms / 3 rooms / 2 toilets / 2 bathrooms)
Apartment 3 of Chalet L'Avalin (6 Pers. including children, South-West 70 m² + terrace 1st floor / 3 bedrooms / 4 rooms / 1 WC / 1 bathroom / 1 shower room)
Apartment 4 of the Chalet L'Avalin (4 Pers.including children, South-East 48 m² balcony / 1 st floor / 1 bedroom / 2 rooms / 1 WC / 1 bathroom)
Apartment 5 of Chalet L'Avalin (10/11 Pers.including children, South West 115 m² + terrace / 2nd floor with mezzanine / 7 rooms / 6 bedrooms (with one with a high bed of 80*180cm) / 1 WC / 1 bathroom with 1 bath and 1 separate shower / 2 bathrooms with shower and WC
The Chalet ”Chez Sylvain 5*****” located 120 rue du Fornet (hamlet from Val d'Isere), 270m², 6 bedsrooms en suite, SPA SAUNA JACUZZI, 4 cars park...
2.The tenant is asked not to exceed the number of occupants under any circumstances. Animals are not accepted except prior agreement for 35€ per week. Please ask for permission to charge electric cars. The arrival time is scheduled between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and the departure time before 10 a.m. (Otherwise after an additional billing for late departure will be asked). In case of other times request, please agree with the lessor.
3.The price also includes a ski locker, collective Sauna (In winter), garage for one car/apartment (H.max 1.90m) (Garage depending on availability for the apartment N°4 which has insted an outdoor car park included). For other additional cars depending on availability, it is necessary to count 90 Euros/week for the garage or 70 Euros/week for the outdoor car park. THIS POINT 3 DON'T CONCERNE THE CHALET CHEZ SYLVAIN.
4.In the event of cancellation, the deposit remains automatically acquired by the owner. ( Or please folow your rental agrement if you have others conditions). The balance is only refunded if the apartment can be re-let at least under the same conditions.
The apartment will be rented in good conditions and be leaved at the end of your stay in at least the same good conditions. The lessee must immediately written report any damage or lack to the lessor. He must therefore be insured for civil liability, and we advise you to take out "trip cancellation" insurance.
5.For guest who have booked online by credit card on sites such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Abritel, the team groupe VRBO and on the owner's site www.avalin.fr, the tourist tax should appears as paid, then everything will be done almost automatically ( emails.,.).
6.For guest who did the booking on the Booking.com, Airbnb web sites a security deposit, automatically exists, for other online booking modes such as the owner's site, Abritel, the team group VBRO, Val d'Isère, on your credit card a "pre-authorization" will therefore be requested during your stay of:
-1000€ for apartment 4 Chalet Avalin
-1500€ for apartments 2 and 3 Chalet Avalin
-2000€ for apartments 1 and 5 Chalet Avalin
-2500€ for the chalet Chez Sylvain
This pre-authorization is not debited except in the event of damage or additional costs (such as an additional car, daily tax, pet...) and is returned normaly the sunday after your departure after inventory, check, showing that the apartment is left in good condition and that there are no additional costs. Otherwise these costs will be deducted from the deposit before refunding the deposit balance. If damage of an amount greater than the deposit is found, the tenant will remain liable for the amount of the damage.
7.In addition, it is requested to leave the apartment in a correct state of cleanliness, to evacuate the garbage cans, waste, wash the dishes... (We do not ask for floor washing, sanitary...). However, in the event of excessive cleaning, a minimum of 50 Euros per hour of excessive cleaning will be requested before departure, or deducted from the deposit, as already announced the additional costs (ex: parking, etc.).
8.You will be contacted on time to know how to get acces to the apartment(s), chalet.
9.The beds are made on arrival, 2 towels are available per person, toilet paper welcome kit... but the products as cleaning products... are not provided, nor is the wood for the fireplace. (Purchasable in supermarket delivered free of charge).

1.The information communicated on the site https://www.avalin.fr/ strives to be fair, up-to-date but has only an indicative value, not exhaustive and is subject to modification and minor adaptations (ex : change of decorations, inventory, furniture...) without recourse being possible in the event of non-compliance, inaccuracies, deficiencies, omissions...
2.The host also in charge of the supply of water, electricity, internet..., cannot be held responsible in the event of a cut or malfunction (or slowdown in the network)... He will endeavor to put everything in works to restore service as quickly as possible depending on the cause ( Ex. break, theft, normal tiredness, vandalism... faulty external service provider...). He will also endeavor to clean the commons as best as possible, such as snow removal from the entrance and parking spaces. But will not be held responsible for parking not cleared of snow. The customers have at their disposal shovels in the garage and must close the garage after each opening.
3.The host is not responsible in the event of theft ( Don't let items, objects, Ski equipment outside, on the balconys...always close the doors, windows even in the higher floors), accident on site, damage, and any problem must be settled between the people, and if necessary the police... even in the event of night noise ...
4.Any problem must be reported within 24 hours of arrival and during the stay for breakdowns, breakages, problems with the chalet, apartment, services, neighbors... and in any case reported upon departure.
5.A car space is allocated per apartment, all requests for changes must be made to the owner or receptionist. THIS POINT DON'T CONCERNE THE CHALET CHEZ SYLVAIN.
6.When playing, circulating around the chalet, it is requested not to stay near the walls, under the roofs, because there is always a potential risk of falling snow, ice from the roofs .... and not playing, walking too close to neighbors windows. We disclaim all liability in the event of an accident.
7.The tenant has the obligation to behave as a "good father" and respect his neighbours, the chalet, apartment... be clean and must respect the calm requested by the neighbors... It is family relaxing hollidays chalet and forbidden to make parties (Fine 1500€ and immediat exclusion of the property). He must therefore also ensure to the environment, do not waste water, leave the windows doors open (waste and risk of theft..), overheat the apartments, cover the radiators, test the heat of the water (children..), do not let the children play on the stairs, with water, electricity...…It is prohibited to practice professional, artisanal or commercial activities there or to establish a main residence there, to change the locks...
8.At garage level, do not leave children alone in it or play with the electric door, which must be closed after each use. There are anti-skid grids at the top right of the ramp, snow shovels towards the window, please put them back in place. It is forbidden to drive in the ramp and in the garage with chains. The maximum height is 190cm. THIS POINT DON'T CONCERNE THE CHALET CHEZ SYLVAIN.
9.In the event of an electrical emergency, next to the entrance door of the apartment inside there is the electrical box that you can force by cutting the child safety device in order to cut off the general current or the fuses concerned. .
10.At the "water damage" level, there are red valves numbered by apartment number in the basement in the shoe dryer room on entering the left of the wall. Please turn off the apartment number corresponding valve if urgent. FOR THIS POINT IN THE CHALET CHEZ SYLVAIN you'll find this main water cut valve by flowing the arrow behind the both water tank in the techincal room in the basement.
11.At the fire level, do not cover the heating radiators, do not leave charged appliances likely to heat up without presence, do not overload the appliance sockets, do not leave the toaster alone... or the fireplace unattended with the door open! If there is a fire, do not panic, avoid drafts and watch out for firefighters ! No ash in the bin!
12.Please do not leave anything on the landings in front of your apartment doors (e.g. trash cans, etc.) for reasons of co-ownership regulations, fire safety, aesthetics, odor, stains on the floor, etc. THIS POINT DON'T CONCERNE THE CHALET CHEZ SYLVAIN.
15.Please note that we do not accept parties or single minors, and that we must respect the French law of nocturnal noise prohibited from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.

https://www.avalin.fr/ is a private site, where it is forbidden to attempt to modify, hack or divert it without the owner's consent. It is forbidden without owner's agreement to copy any text, image, content to try to modify it...
The same is true for internet access, WIFI, where you are asked not to communicate the password codes to people outside the rentals, not to view or download illegal content, to go on the dark web, and not to download large files, videos, streaming... It's a private wifi access for private use, to be chalet shared and not overloaded. We are not responsible for security defects, hacking that the user would have or do, it is forbidden to try to modify the parameters, configuration and to enter the server or devices of other people connected, to hack it.
The same is true for access to the chalets and entry code, ski locker, etc. our not communicate them, do not let people enter except friends, visitors to the chalet. Do not sleep more than the maximum indicated in the rental. Do not change destinations of chalet objects.
Please note that we do not accept parties, nor minors alone, and that it is necessary to respect the French law of the nocturnal noise prohibited from 22 h to 8 h.
In conclusion, the customer agrees to respect these regulations of the chalet, and French legislation.
Any dispute concerning this chalet and resulting from the application of these general conditions will fall under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
-Already know that you will be entitled to a welcome gift, namely a rental discount coupon in a sports store!
-You therefore have a apartment door code witch is the same as the ski locker code. Do not change them. The main door of the chalet has its own code indicated in the apartment such as the ski locker and WIFI code.
-On request you can have a cot, a high chair, sleds in the garage free of charge (not to be used on the road).
-A summary inventory listed here under is in each apartment as well as the instructions for use of the main equipment.
Crockery and cutlery are in principle equivalent in number to the number of beds, or even more for certain items. Each apartment has a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, oven and microwave, induction hob, toaster, kettle, raclette machine, classic coffee maker, Nespresso, blender, kitchen annex cutlery such as corkscrew, knife block..., hair dryer, mini HIFI system, flat screen TV...
Please do not use the chimney when it is windy or the kitchen hood is on. Open a window when to help the fire to start. Close the chalet and fire window when leaving the apartment or sleeping.
Leave the safe open at the end of your stay and put the key in the key box.
You can drink the tap water, the coach in the reasort are free, the bottom snow front lifts are free.
Garbage cans are to be put in containers leaving on the left at 20 m, please sort glass, cardboard paper, packaging. No Ash ( Fire risk), but cigarets filter... yes! (1 cigaret filter pollut 1m² of snow...)
Switch on the house sauna 20 to 30 minutes before using it between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m.
For apartments 1 and 2 the toilets in the lower level are working with a pump so only "natural" and paper inside please, otherwise it will be an expensive plumber!

summer outdoor table and chairs are stored in winter to protect them
from the wind and snow which would break them. In summer you can park
your bikes in the garage. You can also benefit from games and outdoor
ground while leaving free and quiet the private corner in front of
